| A+ IT Technician The previous iteration of this exam was designed for a PC service technician with the equivalent knowledge of at least 500 hours of hands-on experience in the lab or field and consisted of two exams, one for Operating Systems and one for Hardware. With the new changes to this exam, candidates can look forward to seeing more applicative and case scenario style questions. This exam is offered in English, Dutch, Japanese, French, Spanish and German. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric. In terms of cost: Prices of CompTIA exams vary, depending upon the country you are taking the test in and your membership status. In the US, prices range from $93 USD to $225 USD. The 220-602 exam is 90 minutes long. In order to pass this exam, you must achieve a score of 700 or better on a scale of 900. The areas of concentration on the exam include :

It is meant for individuals in a remote environment that have already passed the A+ Essentials exam and have a fairly firm foundation in the material.
